Dragon Racer Motorsport specialise in the design and development of racecars. Established in 2001 the company has always strived to find innovative solutions to design problems whilst trying not to overcomplicate the simple answers and adhering to the core beliefs that the vehicle should be as light and reliable as possible.

Currently we are working on developing a mid engined rear wheel drive Bike Engined Car (BEC) project named Hydra. This racecar will be powered by a Yamaha YZF R1 engine. The prototype chassis will be constructed from a hybrid sheet and honeycombe aluminium and tubular steel spaceframe and the body work will be constructed from light weight Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) and Carbon Fibre. The aim of this project is to creat a racecar that conforms to both the 750MC series rules for the RGB (Road Going Bike Engined Car) and Bike Sport formulae.

In conjunction with the BEC project Dragon Racer Motorsport is also working on plans for a small light weight Single Seater Racecar designed for the real racing enthusiast project named Raptor.

Two other separate projects are also currently under development, one being a sports coupé, project named Manticore, and the other a pure performance V12 Supercar project named Wyvern.
